The Loire Valley

The Loire Valley

Halfway on its way to the sea, where the river turns toward the west, the Loire reaches the three first wine regions. The two first areas, Sancerre and Pouilly, represent the first region that produces white fruity wines thanks to the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety. Its popularity has, today, reached the entire world.

From Touraine to the Bretagne’s slopes, the Loire region presents a surprising grape variety and wine diversity. It is a country of tradition and authenticity. The terroirs benefit from the microclimates created by the numerous waterways.
