Established by law in 1927, the area of the Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée (AOC) Champagne covers 34 000 hectares. Located roughly at 150km east of Paris, it includes 319 “Crus” (villages) on 5 districts : Marne (67%), Aube (23%), Aisne (9%), Haute–Marne and Seine-et-Marne. From 898 to 1825, the French Kings were crowned in Reims, in the heart of the Champagne region. Champagne was generously poured fro the celebrations of the coronations. From the 17th Century, the fame and prestige of Champagne wines never stopped growing, in France and abroad. Since Clovis, the first Franc king, champagne kept being associated with baptism. Champagne is the wines for the “first times”. La Côte des Blancs, In the Marne District, grow only chardonnay grape, giving a light, fine and elegant wine.

  • The robe

    exquisite and elegant with a soft white bubbles. The colour of the wine is pink with orange colour glints.

  • The nose

    a mix of small red fruits, with in particular wild strawberries. Notes of straw and blackcurrant.

  • The mouth / the palate

    ample, festive. Exploding and long lasting fruits. On the finish, wild strawberries flavours develop and master the persistence.
